With over two decades of experience leading safety, compliance, and competency frameworks across Australia and some of the world’s most complex marine operations, Michaela’s career spans government, private, and global corporate sectors. She has held senior management roles overseeing compliance, training, and risk within diverse and high stakes maritime contexts.
Michaela helps organisations navigate the intersection of operational safety, regulation, and digital learning innovation, bringing a practical, systems based approach to capability development.
Through her consultancy, she bridges the gap between regulation and real world practice partnering with ports, vessel operators, regulators, and training organisations to design and implement systems that protect people, enhance performance, and sustain compliance.

- Developed a global training and simulation strategy for Svitzer, introducing immersive learning and competency based programs.
